[he said, she said #4] Discoveries in Death

Today (tonight) marks three months since my 22 year old brother’s passing.

The discovery both of us had since our last [he said, she said] post?

He said/She said: Going through grief with someone you love and trust with your whole heart is the blessing.

The moment we laughed through the tears while
listening to THE mix and talking about THE best memories.

Tonight after a special dinner in honor of my brother, we (he + she) sat outside and listened to the special music mix I made a couple months ago in honor of my brother. We were quiet, held each other, sighed, cried, watched birds overhead (always reminds us of him) and slowly started talking about the most hilarious memories we have of him ~ they all shine so bright. A lot of our most favorite memories include his laugh, his spontaneous hugs and the music videos he would make with his iPhone. Oh if you could see those iPhone music videos…

the best from the best.

He said: You can let the grief blanket you, but that ultimately is letting you conquer you. Or you can let the memories inspire you to continue what Dino lived. Create, love, connect.

She said: It feels so good to wear the memories. More and more every day, I realize the memories of him are where the peace and pieces of him still live and for that I am grateful.

And so it is.
